ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

CorsiTech is committed to providing the processes, facilities, standards,
resources, training, discipline and a work culture to ensure:

  1. A safe environment for all employees and for the communities in which we operate.
  2. Safe, effective products for our customers.
  3. Conservation of energy and natural resources.
  4. Responsible waste management.
  5. Protection of shareholder assets.

Beliefs

  • Uncontrolled releases to the environment are preventable.
  • Safe and responsible management of chemicals and our operations epitomizes respect
and care for each employee and the environment.
  • The fundamentals that deliver excellence in sound environmental practices will help us
    achieve a superior competitive advantage.
  • Source reduction/elimination is the best waste management practice. Alternatives to
source reduction/elimination must focus on reuse, recycling and waste minimization.

Principles

  • Our environmental performance must demonstrate continual improvement.
  • We will meet or exceed compliance with all applicable environmental laws and
regulations, and the principles of Responsible Care; including safe and controlled
transportation, distribution and use of our products.
  • We are committed to a goal of zero (0) uncontrolled releases to the environment.
  • We will strive to develop and implement the best practices and standards that are
protective of our environment and of the communities we reside in worldwide.
  • When an environmental incident occurs, we must quickly learn through “root cause”
analysis and execute corrective actions company-wide.
  • Environmental lessons learned will be clearly communicated to all operations worldwide.
  • All employees and contractors are accountable for performing their daily activities in a
manner that meets our environmental policy.
  • We will strive to reduce and eliminate waste from our plants and facilities at the source;
however, where wastes are generated, they will be handled safely and responsibly.
  • We will participate with the government and others in developing responsible laws,
regulations, and standards to safeguard communities, the workplace and the environment.
  • Our work with the public and regulatory authorities will be conducted in an atmosphere
    of trust, openness and cooperation.
  • Environmental excellence requires demonstrated leadership and management is a
    stakeholder in this responsibility.
  • We will establish environmental practices, standards, and goals into our global business
plans in a manner that assures consistent and effective implementation of our
    environmental policy.
  • We are committed to the environmental rehabilitation of our assets where contamination is found to be outside acceptable standards.
